For sale, Landrover Series 3, in Marine Blue (1980)

Rebuilt in 1997, by CMS Motors, run by Clive MacDonald Smith of LRO Magazine fame (technical expert), on a galvanised chassis. In recent conversations with him he told me of it’s history. This includes a re-built engine, a replacement gearbox, new swivels, brake lines, flexis, exhaust (at the time!) etc etc.

This vehicle was subsequently bought and sold by us (locally) some time ago, but owing to a change in circumstances, the customer has reluctantly had to part with it. With all of the history put together, we know where this Landrover has lived since new!

Diesel 2286cc, with Overdrive fitted.

MOT May 12th 2012 (no advisories, and we had it done), not currently taxed.

This Landrover is as nice to drive as a diesel Series gets. With a diesel engine, overdrive and a Galvanised Chassis, it ticks a lot of boxes.
